The museum is proud to be the home of the High River Visitor Information Centre. Please call, email or drop by the museum and we will be happy to provide you with information, help you plan your adventure and send you in the right direction.

Admission to the museum is by donation.

Accessibility at the Museum

We've placed great importance on ensuring that the Museum of the Highwood is accessible to all visitors. These includes:

  • Wheelchair ramps leading up to entrance door.

  • Accessible washrooms

  • Service dogs are permitted in the museum provided that they wear an identifying vest and the owner carries an identification card. Pets are not permitted in the museum.

  • The museum is one floor and is accessible to people who require mobility assistance.
